The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) is an independent, non-profit organisation. Its members and decision-makers are busy healthcare professionals who volunteer their time and expertise. The ESC represents more than 95,000 men and women in the field of cardiology from Europe, the Mediterranean basin and far beyond. The ESC unites Member National Cardiac Societies, cardiovascular ESC sub-specialty communities, Affiliated Cardiac Societies, distinguished Fellows of the ESC and individual members from around the world. The ESC disseminates evidence-based scientific knowledge to cardiovascular professionals so they can better care for their patients.
