Medical media and publishing company Radcliffe Cardiology* (RC) today announces a new partnership with the International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy (ISCP).

ISCP promotes education, research and evidence-based clinical management in all areas of cardiovascular pharmacotherapy with the ultimate goal of prevention and improving treatment, outcome and patient wellbeing.

A member of the World Heart Federation with representatives – ISCP Governors – from over 40 countries around the World, ISCP is dedicated to facilitating strategies to improve cardiovascular health through cooperation among cardiac physicians and surgeons, pharmacologists, pharmacists, scientists, and medical practitioners worldwide.

The new partnership will involve senior members of the ISCP contributing articles to a specified section of ECR focused on key topics in cardiovascular pharmacology, free access to ECR for ISCP members and further mutual collaboration on select multimedia education.

Published bi-annually, ECR comprises review articles, editorials, viewpoint manuscripts and meta-analyses to continuously develop their knowledge and effectiveness in day-to-day clinical practice.

Led by Editor-in-Chief Prof. Juan Carlos Kaski, supported by a steering committee comprised of Drs. Rao Kondapally, Aneil Malhotra, Robin Ray and Nesan Shanmugam, and underpinned by an editorial board of world-renowned physicians, ECR comprises peer-reviewed articles that aim to provide timely update on the most pertinent issues in the field.

Professor Kaski said: “ I’m looking forward to a new symbiotic relationship with ISCP because it will expand our global community of experts and help to bring even more insights and educational material direct to our combined audiences.”

News about forthcoming ISCP events and congresses will also be available on RC’s website, a comprehensive information source used by physicians for schedule planning.

Liam O’Neill, publishing director of Radcliffe Cardiology added: “We feel very honoured to be partnering with ISCP, the leading global society in cardiovascular pharmacotherapy education and we’re excited about the opportunities that our collaboration will allow us in the future for the continued development of high-quality physician education.”

Spokesman for ISCP said: “The International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy was created to support and promote ethical, evidence-based, cardiovascular pharmacotherapy worldwide. ISCP represents an ideal forum for open discussions on all issues related to cardiovascular pharmacotherapy and the society endeavours to foster collaboration among health professionals around the World. By joining forces with Radcliffe Cardiology, we hope to further widen our horizons and give our audience additional valuable free content from ECR, as well as welcome new members to our ever-growing community.”
