9th German Kardiodiagnostik Day 2017
With the 9th German Cardiodiagnostics Days (DKDT), held in Leipzig from 23 to 25 February 2017, is also a small anniversary. The Leipzig Symposium Noninvasive Cardiovascular Imaging, fused with DKDT 2012, is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
For the 6th time the DKDT will take place as an interdisciplinary event under the aegis of the Heart and Vascular Diagnostics Group of the DRG and the working groups for CT and MRT of the DGK. Again, as in the previous year, the event will receive the active support of DG Nuclear Cardiology of the DGN with its own workshop on Thursday.
This year, after the successful start-up in 2016, we are organizing both the workshops and the symposium at the same venue in the Kongresshalle am Zoo, centrally located in the city center.
The workshops are now certified and recognized not only by the DRG, but also by the DGK according to the different levels. We also offer a workshop for nuclear cardiology and a new practice section in the echo workshop.
We hope to have made the event even more attractive for you by maintaining the central congress center with an even better allocation of space as well as the new certification options. We would like to cordially invite both beginners in cardiac imaging as well as experts from radiology, cardiology, cardiac surgery, internal medicine, general medicine and nuclear medicine to Leipzig!
Cardiovascular imaging plays an increasingly important role in the clinical routine of diagnosis, before initiating therapy and estimating the prognosis. Non-invasive cardiac imaging with echocardiography, cardiac MRI, CT, and nuclear medicine also provide us with ever-better fundamentals. Due to the rapid technical progress, however, new aspects are emerging that are to be included in the daily clinical routine along with the updated guidelines.
Under the focus "Imaging for the Therapy Planning of Cardiovascular Diseases", we therefore want to put the clinical routine into the forefront of the entire program and hope to have put together an exciting program again.
The latest technical and clinical aspects in the field of parametric imaging in magnetic resonance tomography, imaging MRI with pithmakers and the diagnosis and therapy of congenital heart defects should be examined, among other things, taking into account the latest guidelines on computed tomography, MRI with pacemakers.
For the first time interactive case demonstrations will take place, where we will present cases together with you and discuss them with you.
We would like to cordially invite you to enrich the conference program by submitting scientific contributions! The submission of your abstracts and clinical case reports for the interactive case demonstration is now available online at www.kardiodiagnostik.de until 14 October 2016. The 4 best abstracts will be awarded again and presented during the conference. In addition, the authors of all accepted abstracts will be given the opportunity to communicate their scientific results in "moderated screenings".
Also the opportunity for continuous self-study at VDU workstations in the case collection of the DRG as well as the DGK during the Symposiumstage is continued.
The more specific contents of the live cases for invasive imaging and the control of interventions with structural heart disease, which are supplemented by the LIVE demonstrations of the relevant CT and MRI examinations, are especially aimed at cardiologists.
The successful MTRA-matched program on Saturday will, of course, continue to be offered.
We are looking forward to the continuation of the conference in Leipzig and to exciting, entertaining and entertaining days with you!
