As the Chair of the Local Organizing Committee for the 51st Annual AEPC meeting 2017 in Lyon, it is my pleasure and pride to invite you to be part in this important event, from March 29th to April 1st 2017.

The Association for European Paediatric and Congenital Cardiology annual Meeting is specifically devoted to the field of Paediatric and Congenital Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery.

AEPC was founded in Lyon where its first congress was held in 1963 and after more than five decades, the AEPC meeting will be back in Lyon. We are expecting to gather a great scientific Faculty and participants from Europe and overseas of more than 1000 attendees for this unique and exceptional event. A novel scientific cooperation with the Canadian faculty will be initiated as well as scientists exchanges from all over the world will be promoted.

Paediatric Cardiologists, Surgeons, Intensivists, Cardiologists, Psychologists and Nurses are involved in the program to provide a multidisciplinary and up-to-date approach of new techniques, therapeutics, basic science innovation and research in the area of Paediatric and Congenital Cardiology Educational and Junior programmes are specifically addressed.

The meeting will focus on advances in Genetics, embryology and Basic science, Fœtal cardiology, Intensive care management, non-invasive diagnosis techniques and therapeutic procedures, congenital coronary anomalies, electrophysiology and arrhythmias of the Congenital Heart, Pulmonary Hypertension. Working groups sessions, morphology and anatomy-clinical demonstrations, nurses sessions, on-hands live activities will contribute to an enthusiastic and exciting high level Scientific Meeting.
