For the 19^th year, this symposium will update the internists, cardiologists, IC and CS in the latest developments in the field of Interventional Cardiology. Didactic presentations, case presentations, workshops and debates. A strong review of different hot topics and recent progress in interventional cardiology. Presentations on evidence based and practical clinical approaches to diagnosis and treatment by expert faculty.

OBJECTIVES

• Educate participants on new pharmacologic anticoagulant and anti-platelet treatment in CCU, ICU and Cath. Lab.

• Educate participants on new techniques and development in physiologic evaluation of CAD in and out of the Cath. Lab. New devices in coronary stenting, left atrial appendage closure and TAVI.

• Review the state of the art and/or the new development of management of the treatment of functional mitral regurgitation, left main coronary disease, chronic total coronary occlusion and renal ablation for resistant high blood pressure.

• Importantly, participants and faculty are asked to bring cases to share and discuss with the audience.
