For the 19th year, this symposium will update the internists, cardiologists, IC and CS in the latest developments in the field of Interventional Cardiology. Didactic presentations, case presentations, workshops and debates. A strong review of different hot topics and recent progress in interventional cardiology. Presentations on evidence based and practical clinical approaches to diagnosis and treatment by expert faculty.

Simulator Workshops available this year, 3 hours each day! You must pre-register max. of 6 people per hour. Registration froms will be sent to you in January to select the workshops you would like to attend.

OBJECTIVES

  • Educate participants on new pharmacologic anticoagulant and anti-platelet treatment in CCU, ICU and Cath. Lab.

  • Educate participants on new techniques and development in physiologic evaluation of CAD in and out of the Cath. Lab. New devices in coronary stenting, left atrial appendage closure and TAVI.

  • Review the state of the art and/or the new development of management of the treatment of functional mitral regurgitation, left main coronary disease, chronic total coronary occlusion and renal ablation for resistant high blood pressure.

  • Importantly, participants and faculty are asked to bring cases to share and discuss with the audience.
