Hein Heidbuchel, University Hospital Gasthuisberg, Leuven, BE
Gerhard Hindricks, Heart Center Leipzig, DE
Josef Kautzner, Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine, Prague, CZ
Pier Lambiase, Heart Hospital, University College London, UK

Richard Schilling, St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospital, UK

In this 2nd video, the Round Table discusses ablation, and the new tools available to arrhythmologists to achieve better patient outcomes. The future for improving treatment strategies looks bright, but clear results on the beneficial effects of some technological platforms are still lacking.

The assigned learning objectives for this roundtable are:
  • Increase physician awareness on heart rhythm disorders
  • Encourage development of the referral pathway between cardiologists and EPs
  • Discuss novel and emerging technologies being utilised in the EP lab
  • Debate risk stratification criteria for heart rhythm disorders
  • Assess risk stratification for CRT non-responders
  • Consider radiation dose reduction strategies for EPs

This round table discussion is intended for an international audience, specifically electrophysiologists, cardiologists and allied healthcare professionals seeking to improve their knowledge of heart rhythm disorders.
