In this webinar, experts in Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy (CRT) will show how the AdaptivCRT™ algorithm improves the hemodynamic function of the heart and leads to better patient outcomes. Dr Ulrike Neuhold (Krems, AT) will present the echocardiographic impact of left ventricular only pacing, synchronised with spontaneous right ventricular conduction using AdaptivCRT; Dr Maurizio Lunati (Milan, IT) will show the latest clinical evidence in a real-world population and Prof Carina Blomström-Lundqvist (Uppsala, SE) will moderate the session.
Carina Blomström-Lundqvist is a Professor of cardiology at the Uppsala University Hospital in Sweden. She is an expert in electrophysiology and rhythmology and has authored multiple peer-reviewed scientific papers and presented her work at many international conferences. She held leadership positions in the European Heart Rhythm Association and is involved in several ESC practice guidelines.
Dr Maurizio Lunati is Director of the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiac Pacing Unit and Chairman of the Department of Cardiology/Cardiac-Thoracic-Vascular Surgery "A. De Gasperis" at the Niguarda Hospital, Milan, Italy. He is lecturer at Milan-Bicocca University and Varese-Insubria University. His clinical and research interests are focused on implantable device therapy and catheter mapping and ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias. He was previously Director of the Cardiac Pacing Course of the Educational Committee of EHRA (European Heart Rhythm Association). He is an internationally recognised educator and speaker on device therapy for cardiac arrhythmias.
Dr Ulrike Neuhold is working as a Cardiologist in the University Hospital Krems, Austria and in her work, she focuses on electrophysiology, echocardiography, interventional cardiology and the implantation of devices. She is providing echocardiography courses in Austria: echo is an important consideration in the indication for CRT and after CRT implantation, she always checks whether the dyssynchrony has disappeared.
