Sylwia Sławek-Szmyt is an Assistant Professor and Consultant Cardiologist at the Department of Cardiology, Poznan University of Medical Sciences, Poland, with a focus on interventional cardiology and pulmonary embolism care. She leads the outpatient clinic for patients after pulmonary embolism and performs a wide range of catheter-based coronary, structural, and pulmonary vascular interventions. Her clinical practice is complemented by active involvement in international fellowships, including structural interventions training in Katowice and interventional cardiology at Heart Center Dresden. She is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and an active member of multiple ESC working groups and EAPCI committees.
