Biography

Dr Sohail Khan is currently a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at University of Birmingham. Dr Khan specialises in general and interventional cardiology, with an interest in high-risk coronary angioplasty patients.

After receiving Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degrees from the University of Edinburgh, Dr Khan completed his Medical degree from the University of Leicester for research on cardiac biomarkers and acute myocardial infarction. He has since been awarded the Boston Scientific Fellowship for advanced coronary intervention at the University of Toronto.

Dr Khan is a well-respected research publisher and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, the European Society of Cardiology, and the American College of Cardiology. Dr Khan has also served as a Principal Investigator for many national and international clinical trials.
