Biography

Dr Simon Cheung-Chi Lam graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Hong Kong in 2003. He is an interventional cardiologist from the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong. He received his post-fellowship training in Structural and Congenital Heart Intervention in Cardiovascular Center Frankfurt, Germany under Prof Horst Sievert in 2012-2013. 

His special interests include Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation, Percutaneous Mitral Valve Repair, Left Atrial Appendage Closure, Closure of Septal Defects and Perivalvular Leaks, Renal Denervation, Complex PCI and Intracoronary Optical Coherence Tomography. He is physician proctor to Structural Heart Intervention Procedures including Edwards SAPIEN Transcatheter Heart Valve, Off-pump Mitral Valve Repair with NEOCHORD, AMULET & LAmbre Left Atrial Apendage Occluder Device.
