Sean Lal

Dr Sean Lal is a Professor of Clinical and Molecular Cardiology in the school of medical sciences at the University of Sydney, Australia. He is also a consultant cardiologist and director of acute heart failure services at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

His research interests include cardiac arrhythmias, cardiac imaging, heart failure, cardiac regeneration strategies and teaching in the medical sciences. 

Dr Lal completed his undergraduate degree in Medical Science with first-class honours at the University of Sydney and pursued his Medical Degree and a Master of Medicine at the same institution. He then went on to complete his cardiology training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
