Biography

Prapa Kanagaratnam is a Consultant Cardiologist at St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare in London. His clinical and research interests are the ablation of cardiac arrhythmias and device therapy. His research is supported by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Biomedical Research Centre Funding Scheme and the British Heart Foundation. In 2001, he was the recipient of the Young Researcher of the Year award from the British Cardiac Society. Dr Kanagaratnam has authored and co-authored numerous papers included in leading peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Kanagaratnam is on the AER editorial board.
