Dr Lim completed his MBBS at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne Medical School in 1990. He then undertook higher specialist training cardiovascular medicine at Ninewell University Hospital and Medical School, Dundee from 1994 to 2000. During this period he completed his MD in hypertensive heart disease and contributed to the development of the “Dundee Step Test” and 20 peer reviewed publications.
Dr Lim was appointed as consultant in cardiology at St George’s Hospital in 2005. Since taking up his post at St George’s he has introduced radial approach coronary interventions to the Trust and is currently the clinical lead for cardiac intervention.
