With over 12 years of clinical practise, Dr Marta Bande is a distinguished Interventional Cardiologist at Boston Scientific Corporation, Milan and has previously served as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Sant'Ambrogio Clinical Institute, Milan.
Dr Bande graduated with an MD from the University of Cagliari in Sardinia with further training at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Miami Heart Institute, US. She then completed a Cardiology Fellowship, followed by an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship in 2008 at the Institut Cardiovasculaire Paris Sud in Paris. She then achieved a Masters in 2009 in Interventional Cardiology from Ospedale San Raffaele, Milan.
Dr Bande is currently a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions and a respected international conference speaker. Her research interests include structural heart disease, complex coronary interventions, and gender-based issues within Interventional Cardiology.
