Biography
Lynne Brown is an Associate Director of Clinical Marketing at Philips Healthcare, with responsibility for cardiovascular ultrasound products and advanced imaging technologies. Her work focuses on clinical strategy, education, and product adoption in cardiac imaging, drawing on more than 20 years of experience in echocardiography and clinical ultrasound practice.
Professional Experience
Brown joined Philips in July 2018 as a Product Application Specialist for cardiovascular ultrasound. She subsequently held the role of Senior Clinical Sales Training Specialist for VeriSight Pro, Philips’ 3D intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) catheter, before being appointed Associate Director of Clinical Marketing in April 2025. Her responsibilities have included clinical training, development of educational programmes, and support for the clinical introduction of new cardiac imaging technologies.
Prior to Philips, Brown worked at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago for 13 years in a series of clinical and informatics roles. These included Cardiac Sonographer at UIC Medical Center (2006–2008), Senior Cardiac Sonographer at Lurie Children’s (2008–2013), Manager of the Tele-Echocardiography Programme and Echocardiography Laboratory (2013–2015), and Application Analyst in Medical Imaging/Cardiology (from 2015). Her Application Analyst role continued alongside her work at Philips.
Credentials and Areas of Practice
Brown is a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE).
Her clinical practice has included both paediatric and adult echocardiography, with a particular focus on paediatric coronary artery imaging. She is a co-author of A Practical Guide to Pediatric Coronary Artery Imaging with Echocardiography, published in the Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography in 2015.
