Lutz Buellesfeld is co-founder and Head of the Siegburg Cardiovascular Research Centre at the Siegburg Heart Centre. He received his first
degree in medicine at the Rheinische Friedrich-WilhelmUniversity in Bonn. He undertook a post-doctoral research fellowship at Stanford University Centre for Research in Cardiovascular Interventions. His cardiology training was completed at the University of Bonn Medical School and Department of Cardiology and Angiology Siegburg Heart Centre.
Since November 2014 Priv.-Doz. Dr. Büllesfeld Head of Internal Medicine at St. Marien Hospital Bonn-Venusberg and Cardiology of St. Josef Hospital Bonn-Beuel and Head of Interventional Cardiology at both locations.
Priv-Doz. Dr. Büllesfeld is a member of the German, Swiss and European Society of Cardiology, the Interventional Cardiology Working Group, the Adult Congenital Heart Defects working group and the Cardiac Disease Working Group of the European Society of Cardiology and a member of the American Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention. He is the author of numerous scientific publications as well as a speaker at national and international congresses.
