Prof Eberhard Grube was born in 1944 in Hamburg, Germany. He pursued his medical education in Germany and later undertook advanced training in the United States, laying the foundation for a distinguished international career in cardiology and interventional medicine.

Prof Grube studied medicine at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelm University in Bonn, Germany, where he earned his medical degree.
