Biography

Personal History

Dr. Dennis Lynn Morris is a cardiologist in Greenville, North Carolina and is affiliated with Vidant Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 41 years.1

 

Academic History

Dr. Morris graduated with honors from University Of South Carolina School of Medicine in 1978. He went on to complete an internship and then a residency at the University of Virginia Hospital, in 1979 and 1981, respectively. Following that, he was a Chief Medical Resident in 1982 before completing a Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of California, San Francisco in 1982 and 1985.1

 

Career Overview

Dr. Morris worked as Chairman Emeritus, Cardiovascular Diseases with AEMC for fifteen years, from 2003 to 2018. Since 2018 he has been the Chief of Interventional Cardiology and Professor of Cardiovascular Diseases at the ECU Physicians East Carolina Heart Institute, Brody School of Medicine, ECU, Greenville NC.1
