Biography

Dr Christian H. Heeger is a distinguished cardiologist and electrophysiologist, with extensive training at St. Georg Hospital in Hamburg. He rose to become Head of Electrophysiology there before founding and directing the Department of Rhythmology at Asklepios Klinik Hamburg Altona in 2024. A prolific researcher, Dr. Heeger has authored and co-authored nearly 300 publications, significantly contributing to cardiovascular diagnostics, heart failure, and advanced cardiac imaging.
