Cassandra Lickert, MD, is a Pediatrician and an Allergist/Immunologist practicing for over 10 years before transitioning into the pharmaceutical industry. She has been in the pharmaceutical industry for just over 18 years now. She spent nearly 11 years working in Pulmonary arterial hypertension with multiple publications. She currently leads MMM, HEOR & RWE, working in multiple disease spaces, including prostate cancer at Sumitomo Pharma America, following acquisition and consolidation of Myovant Science, Inc. where she was initially employed.
Dr Lickert is deeply committed to patient care and the advancement of scientific knowledge. She actively engages with key stakeholders to facilitate the exchange of information, supporting well-informed decision-making in both patient care and population health.
With over 13 years of experience in HEOR and RWE, Dr. Lickert has made significant contributions to her field. She has authored more than 13 peer-reviewed publications across various disciplines, demonstrating her ongoing dedication to research and scholarly communication.
Since 2019, Dr Lickert has concentrated her efforts in prostate cancer. She has provided support for five peer-reviewed manuscripts in this space, reflecting her specialized knowledge and commitment to advancing understanding and treatment of the disease.
Currently, Dr Lickert is leading several RWE projects related to prostate cancer, with a particular focus on androgen deprivation therapy and the study of cardiovascular and major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE). Her ongoing work continues to impact patient outcomes and inform clinical practice.
