Biography

Dr Sara C Martinez is an Interventional Cardiologist at Providence Health and Services in Olympia, Washington. Prior to her current appointment, Dr Martinez was an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, and a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Sharon Cresci Lab and Washington University School of Medicine. Dr Martinez also completed her residency in internal medicine at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital. 

Dr Martinez attended the University of Texas in Austin, earning her Batchelor of Science in Biochemistry, before attending Washington University in St. Louis for her PhD in Medicine and molecular genetics. 

Dr Sara C Martinez is an Editorial Board member of US Cardiology Review.
