Biography

Angela Hoye is an Interventional Cardiologist at Castle Hill Hospital, Hull and a Senior Lecturer in Cardiology at the Centre for Cardiovascular and Metabolic Research, Hull York Medical School.

She completed cardiology training in East Yorkshire, UK and has a speciality interest in coronary intervention. She worked for two years at the Thoraxcenter, Rotterdam between 2002 and 2004, and undertook research into the efficacy of drug-eluting stents. Her PhD entitled Contemporary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention for Complex Lesions: the Treatment of Chronic Total Occlusions and Bifurcations in the Drug-eluting Stent. She was awarded by the Erasmus University of Rotterdam in 2006.
