It is also a great pleasure to welcome Andrew Grace and congratulate him on his appointment as Deputy Editor, with a special interest in arrhythmia mechanisms and basic science. Apart from being a scientist who needs no introduction, Andrew has been a personal friend and colleague since our years at St GeorgeÔÇÖs in London. I shall never forget the Don Giovanni background from his desk in the office we shared!
The willingness of the international electrophysiology community to contribute to the journal by submitting learned and instructive reviews has also been a pleasant surprise to all of us in Arrhythmia & Electrophysiology Review. It has been a very exciting and I must admit educating endeavour to solicit, review and process all this high quality material. I do hope our readers share my views. We shall keep moving forward. The commitment and support of our colleagues has been most reassuring in the short but promising life of this journal.
